Privacy Policy

yourcatiscute ("we", "us") is a place to share photos of cats and love other people's. This policy covers the website at yourcatiscute.com and the yourcatiscute iPhone app. We collect as little as we can and we never sell your data.

What we collect

• Account info: your email address, password (stored hashed — we can't see it), username and display name.
• What you post: cat photos, names, statements, prompt answers and comments.
• What you do: which photos you love or pass, cats you favorite, reports you file and people you block.
• Sticker orders: if you buy a sticker, your name and shipping address and the order details. Card details go straight to Stripe — we never see or store your card number.
• Usage analytics: anonymous page-view counts via Vercel Analytics, which doesn't use cookies or track you across other sites.

What's public

Cat pages are public: anyone, including search engines, can see your cats' photos, names and statements, your username, and comments. Your email address, loves/passes, reports, blocks and orders are never shown to other users.

Who we share it with

Only the services we need to run the app, and only for that purpose:

• Supabase — stores accounts, data and photos.
• Vercel — hosts the website and provides anonymous analytics.
• Google Cloud Vision — checks uploaded photos to make sure they're cats and aren't inappropriate.
• remove.bg — occasionally used to cut a cat out of its background when you make a sticker.
• Stripe — processes sticker payments.
• Printful — prints and ships sticker orders, so it receives your name, shipping address and the sticker artwork.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account at any time from Home → Settings → Delete account. That permanently removes your account, cats, photos, comments, loves, favorites, reports and blocks. Records of sticker purchases (amount, date and shipping details) are kept, detached from your account, because we're required to keep sales records. You can also email us to ask for a copy of your data or to have it deleted.

Kids

yourcatiscute isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child under 13 has an account, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll let you know in the app.
